Comment: This is an older cottage. The building has substantial sagging in the center of some room floors, 12 inches perhaps when we were there. We suspect the cabin was built on a pier/post system instead of perimeter footings, and as a result it likely sags in the summer and heaves upward when (if) the ground freezes as it is built on "soft" land. The cabin will likely require a "lift" and a new understructure, or maybe even a replacement cabin. This will require some engineering to correct. The garage is steel and newer, on a solid concrete floor. The parcel is 470' on the road and 300' deep more or less. The home has a good roof and appears generally solid, but the sagging is a formidable issue and will require immediate attention. Last apparent use: 2002
